user with a flexible, convenient way in which he or she can carry and wear

the device.

WHAT TYPES OF MOBILE PHONES WORK WITH S.A.F.e?

The S.A.F.e locator is a standalone device. Mobile phone service and data is NOT needed to use S.A.F.e. However, a smartphone running Android or iOS software, and has the ability to connect to cellular data and/or Wi-Fi is necessary for admins/emergency contacts to access the app and locate a S.A.F.e Locator that has been triggered.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE S.A.F.e LOCATOR PLATFORM?

You can download the platform from safelocator.com. However, you will need to subscribe to a S.A.F.e Monitoring package before being provided your credentials for log-in.

CAN I CHOOSE WHOM MY S.A.F.e MESSAGE IS SENT TO?

Yes - you can choose which groups of people your S.A.F.e alerts are sent to in SETTINGS in the S.A.F.e Locator app.

WHO IS MY ALERT SENT TO?

By default, your S.A.F.e alerts are sent to all of the admins and emergency contacts established during initial set-up of your S.A.F.e Locator subscription.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ACTIVATE S.A.F.e?

When you activate your S.A.F.e Locator, an alert is delivered via text an email to the admin/emergency contacts assigned by you during your initial set-up. The alert will read: “(The person's name) has Engaged the Panic

Button (with the unique identifier of the triggered S.A.F.e locator, date and time, and the last known position [coordinates and address]) of the S.A.F.e being activated”.

The location information for the individual who triggered the alert will be provided to the admin app dashboard within seconds, and the closest police department to that address will be presented to the admin. With this information, the admin will have the critical information necessary to provide to the 911 operator, who will then dispatch the nearest police vehicles and authorities.

WHAT IS THE DURATION FOR WHICH SOMEONE CAN TRACK MY LOCATION?

You set up how long you would like to be tracked, anywhere from one-hour to indefinitely.

DO I NEED A WIFI OR CELLULAR CONNECTION IN ORDER TO USE THE APP/DASHBOARD?

Yes, a wifi or cellular connection is necessary in order to access the S.A.F.e Locator App or Dashboard.

HOW DO I USE THE S.A.F.e HOME SCREEN DASHBOARD?

The S.A.F.e Dashboard will show you the GPS map location of any triggered S.A.F.e locator, providing admins the ability to track the triggered S.A.F.e locator in real-time.

HOW OFTEN WILL I BE BILLED?

S.A.F.e will auto-bill your credit card or bank account on file, once per month. Our payment system uses secure, 128-bit, SSL encryption to protect your sensitive financial and personal data. You will receive an email confirmation immediately following the successful processing of each monthly payment.

HOW DO I LOG-IN?

To use the platform, you will first need to subscribe to S.A.F.e Monitoring. After which, you will be set up with your S.A.F.e. username and password. These credentials will be provided to you after you or your business are registered with S.A.F.e.
